Day Trading Courses: Want to Take a Day Trading Class?

Are you thinking about taking a day trading class to begin your education? There are many online classes available which show you how to perform technical analysis, use day trading software and even teach specific strategies.

Before you pick a class you may want to think deeply about what type of day trader you would like to be. Your trading account size, available time for trading per week and trading profit goals can eliminate taking courses that waste your time. As humans we tend to complicate things unnecessarily sometimes and this happens often in trading.

There are so many trading systems on the market and still the statistics show that 95% of traders lose money and quit within 3 years. Many of the 5% that earn use simple strategies although they may not be practicle for your unique situation.

Let’s say that you run a hedge fun and have 100’s of millions of dollars in the trading account, you can use the monthly and weekly charts and take advantage of very clear reliable trends to earn profits. Each trade can last days or weeks. If you are a speculator trading from your home office you may not want to have only a couple trades per week. Some traders make 10-20 trades per week, others can make that many in one day.

By analyzing how much time you have to spend and if you want really fast action with your finger always on the trigger or a more relaxed 1 or 2 trades per day, this can help you choose the right day trading class.

Take your time to research trading educators and find someone who has a style that suits your lifestyle. Have a good look at their track record and equity curve. Finding a high probability trading methodology and practicing it on a demo account for a couple months will teach you quickly about being a successful trader.
